Welcome to London!

I don't even think that anybody is reading this, but that is absolutely fine. I do not mind not having anybody read my work as long as I can get it down and not lose it! :)

What am I doing and why am I here? I'm living in the wrong world. I don't think I am in the right place or at the right time. But I will enjoy what I have while I have it.

I am normal. No screwed up childhood, no wierd obsessions, no crazy addictions... Plain and simple. Is that classified as boring? I think I am lucky. Very lucky to be plain and simple and to be honest I do hope that it stays that way...

Anyway this post is about London, where I was born, raised, and still live! Am I ever going to live anywhere else? I doubt it very much. I think that I have become the real city living girl. I enjoy a break. I love to switch of my phone and have no internet for a couple of weeks. But any longer and I know my life will fall apart! Media and technology is my life, and living in London has made me a spoilt brat when it comes to almost everything!

London has everything you could wish for! Theatre, parties, peace, parks, sports, swimming, gigs, galleries, street art, adventures, transport, clothes, shopping, food, technology, banking, travel and even wildlife! There is just so much to do here that when I do not actually end up doing something I start to feel guilty!

These voucher companies Groupon/Wowcher etc... have made it even better!

On Saturday night I went out with my boyfriend (I will tell you about him another time) to this fantastic place in Knightsbridge- Privee ! It was brilliant! For £40 we both got a 3 course meal, entertainment (hilarious entertainment) and 6 cocktails during dinner came to an extra £40 including tips.

The food was gorgeous! Starters to share, chicken, houmous, pitta, fish and falafels! The fish was spicy but in a good sort of spicy! After that our main course was a range of meat with couscous- also gorgeous and to end the great meal we got some lovely baklava. For a great price, in the best part of London we had a fantastic evening! My boyfriend managed to embarrass me by doing old man dancing with a belly dancer (see what I mean about the strange and wonderful world of London) but we also laughed so much with the different acts that were also involved- a singing cupid, burlesque and a cute cute cute little doggy!

I do recommend it if you want a fun night out with your friends, especially if you want to embarrass someone for their birthday. Hahaha. Get dolled up, and enjoy the night with good food, drinks and a belly dance or two!

Chat sooon!!!
